Homer Tree Inc. has been contracted by the Village to perform removals of select trees that have been identified in the following subdivisions:

• Malibu Bay
• Heritage Place
• Poplar Ridge
• Marquette Landings
• Marquette Estates
• Misty Ridge
• Lakewood Estates

Residents that have a tree located in the parkway in front of the property that is scheduled for removal have also been mailed a letter providing additional details.  

Crews will begin the tree removals on Monday, February 9th.  A restoration crew will be following behind the removal crew and addressing the removal of the stumps and restoration of the parkway at each property.  

New parkway trees will be installed in the Spring 2026 in areas that provide adequate spacing with varying species to enhance the urban canopy.
