We take pride in keeping our Community clean and looking beautiful. We ask residents to help by reporting any graffiti to the Romeoville Police Department at (815) 886-7219.
To assist with keeping our community clean, the following rules relating to graffiti have been established:
• If graffiti is placed on any single family residence, it is the responsibility of the owner to remove the graffiti within three (3) days of it being reported.
• If graffiti is placed on a accessory, such as a detached garage, or a structure other than the residence, it is the responsibility of the owner to remove the graffiti within twenty-four (24) hours of it being reported.
• If the graffiti is not removed by the owner of the property, and the Village is notified of its existence, the Village will remove the graffiti and the owner may be subject to a fine of not less than $75 nor more than $750.
