The Village of Romeoville is proud to be serving on the Will County Safety Action Plan Steering Committee to ensure that the diverse voices in our community are reflected in the plan. This effort is part of the regional Safe Travel for All initiative to make roads safer, reduce crash severity, and save lives.
The Will County Action Plan is a community-focused guide aimed at making roads safer, reducing crash severity, and saving lives. As part of the regionwide "Safe Travel for All: initiative, this plan will identify practical actions, innovative solutions, and policy proposals to protect everyone on the roads, including those walking, biking and rolling.
As a Steering Committee member, the Village of Romeoville is working to ensure that Will County's diverse perspectives are reflected in the plan. We encourage your participation and invite you to join our first in-person Open House to discuss the plan and gather your valuable feedback.

Kids are welcome, and ample parking is available.
Anyone who travels in Will County is strongly encouraged to actively participate in this plan by attending community events and providing feedback online. Engagement opportunities will include the following:
- Please complete the event registration form on the project website in advance to ensure accessibility needs are accommodated.
- Safety Hotspots Map: Visit the project website and use the interactive Safety Hotspots Map to drop a pin where safety improvements are needed, highlight challenges, and offer recommendations.
- Take the Online Survey: Shape the safety action plan for Will County by taking a few minutes to fill out the online survey.
