We will have three major paving projects occurring over the next week. Please be aware of these construction zones, be courteous and cautions of the workers, and alter your routes accordingly. All project start dates and estimated completion times are weather permitting.
Project One
Paving work will begin this Saturday (7/29) on 135th Street from Macon west to near Arsenal Road. The existing road closures and detours will remain in place. It would be best to avoid the area completely and expect heavy construction traffic during the work.
Project Two
Starting 7 am on Monday (7/31), Macon will be closed from Avalon to Palmer, including the 135th intersection, for paving. 135th Street will also be paved from Macon to Homer. Resurfacing should take two days. A new detour (Belmont-Murphy-Hemlock) will be marked.

Project Three
Starting at 7 am on Monday (7/31), resurfacing will begin on Airport Road from Frontage Road to Weber Road. The road will have oil applied prior to the resurfacing and lane closures will occur. Be cautious and expect delays. Resurfacing should be completed by the end of the week.
