Two construction projects will begin on June 1 that will affect traffic in Romeoville. Please see below for details on each and look in to alternate routes or allow extra time for your travels.

RAILROAD TRACKS ON 135TH ST. NEAR NEW AVE.
Canadian National will be completely replacing the track crossing on 135th Street near New Avenue. This will require the complete closure of the crossing from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1 until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5.

NORTHBOUND LANE OF WEBER ROAD
Starting June 1, one northbound lane of Weber Road will be closed for 100 feet from the southernmost point of construction. Northbound Weber Road will remain open, but will be reduced to one lane in this area. Work will be completed within three weeks.
