Halloween Happenings

Halloween is right around the corner! Don't miss these themed events happening throughout town this month!


Lifetime Fitness “Boo Bash” 
Saturday, October 13, 2018, 5 -9 p.m.
Lifetime Fitness Romeoville, 1220 Lakeview Dr.
Parents drop off your kids, ages 4 to 12, and enjoy an evening out yourself! Your kids will climb the rock wall, swim, enjoy crafts, watch movies and eat pizza! $30 for non-members, $20 for members. Kids must be on membership to qualify for member pricing. LT bucks are not eligible for this event. For more information, call (630) 759-9995. Registrations taken in person only. Space is limited.


Fall Fest - Free Family Fun 
Saturday, October 20, 2018, 5 -8 p.m.

Adult Halloween Party at Iron & Glass
Friday, October 26, 2018 at 4 p.m.
Iron & Glass, 632 S. Weber Road
Get your costume ready (or not if you’re not into that sort of thing) and head to I&G for food, fun, live entertainment, games, and special tappings. Seasonal beer tappings at 4 p.m., BaByQ’s BBQ Food Truck 5-9 p.m., Live Entertainment starting at 7 p.m. Costume Contest with prizes for top three costumes at 9 p.m.


Romeoville’s Halloween Fest
Friday, October 26, 2016, 5-7:30 p.m.
Village Park, 900 West Romeo Rd.
Join the Romeoville Recreation Department and the Romeoville Chamber of Commerce for a SPOOKTACULAR good time. FREE spine-tingling activities include a trick or treat trail, craft area, moon jumps, pumpkins for the first 400 children, a children’s entertainer, and a frightening costume contest (for ages 2-12 years.)

The Rock Community Church's Trunk or Treat

The Rock Community Church and United Presbyterian Church are inviting all neighborhood kids to come enjoy fun games and treats!  Invite a friend or neighbor as well! This is always a super fun event! There is no cost for the event. Sponsored by Interact Club and SAAD. Open to children 5th grade and younger. Donation is $1 per child. Money will be used to buy specific food items for the Romeoville Food Pantry.


White Oak Library’s Halloween Party 
Thursday, October 30, 2018, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
White Oak Library, 201 Normantown Road
Calling all little witches, ghosts and anyone who loves to share tricks and treats.  Come to the library for a frightfully good time during our annual Halloween Party. Canlan Ice Sports 1st Annual Halloween Bash

This free indoor event is great for families and kids of all ages! Come trick-or-treat with us! There will be several businesses handing out candy, coupons and other fun prizes. Dress in your best costume for a chance at winning our first ever costume contest. Come in costume and receive a half-price admission for our spooky skate. Hot chocolate and popcorn available to purchase for $1.00.


Pumpkin Pitch 2018 - Shred Documents & Catapult Jack-O-Lanterns
Saturday, November 3, 2018, 9 a.m.-Noon
Lewis University, 1 University Parkway, Parking Lot “W” South of the main entrance. Will County and Lewis University have partnered to offer the annual Will County collection of pumpkins for recycling. Students, parents, and residents are encouraged to pitch their pumpkins and gourds to see whose pumpkin goes the furthest!! Staff from the County will be joined by the Farm Bureau and Univ. of IL Ext office to measure distance and offer prizes! Document Destruction will also be offered. Naked Pumpkins Only! No candles, bags or boxes! Limit of five pumpkins per person. 


Romeoville’s Costumes & Cocktails 21 Years & Older Halloween Party
Saturday, November 3, 2018, 7-11 p.m.
Friendship Centre at Highpoint, 175 Highpoint Dr.
Join us for our 8th Annual 21 Years & Older Halloween Party. $20.00 per person includes all food and beverages. Cash prizes for best costumes. Tickets available at Village Hall, Recreation Center and Friendship Centre prior to event. Also available at the door. Event to benefit Youth Outreach Commission.
