[ARCHIVED] Romeoville Employees Earn 1st Place Award for Advertisement

Flyer and photo with 1st place ribbon

Rich Green, Marketing Coordinator, and Mark Serratore, Communication Specialist, took home a 1st place ribbon at the Illinois Park and Recreation Association’s Agency Showcase event this past week. Rich designed a full page print advertisement for the 2024 Romeoville Holiday Lights Festival using Mark’s photo as a base. This creative combination took first place out of 15 entries in the Integrated Photography category. The Agency Showcase is a spirited competition spotlighting bright ideas exhibited by park, recreation and conservation agencies. This professionally judged competition recognizes Illinois agencies for their marketing and communication efforts ranging from print to multimedia.

“We are very lucky to have such a great marketing team serving our village,” said Mayor Noak. “We are proud of Rich and Mark for their achievement and for showcasing Romeoville in such a great way.”

You can see even more work from Rich and Mark, as well as the rest of the marketing team, by flipping through the Recreation Brochure, visiting romeoville.org, and following the Village on social media.
