The Fit 4 Life Fitness Center is getting some updates - new insulation AND new cardio equipment! Please see below for partial and full closures.

Monday, April 29
The West side of the Fitness Center will be closed from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Equipment that will not be accessible during this time:
All Cardio, Various Selectorized Machines, and Free Weights.
(Treadmills, Ellipticals, Stairmasters, Bikes, Rower, Ab/Back Extension, Rotary Torso,
Leg Curl, Leg Extension, Inner/Outer Thigh, Leg Press, Hammer Strength,
Squat Rack, Smith Machine, Bumper Plates)

Tuesday, April 30
The East side of the Fitness Center will be closed from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Equipment that will not be accessible during this time:
Various Selectorized Machines, Free Weights, and Stretching Area.

Entire Fitness Center will be closed from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Zumba Toning will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and the Gymnasiums are available for walking.

Zumba Kids

Zumba Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities, and cultural exploration elements into the class routine.

Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Register 7 days prior to class starting.

Spectacular Magic 

Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more! You'll discover tricks and quick to learn and easy to perform. All materials are provided, and each participant receives a magic kit to take home. This class will take place at the Plainfield Park District's Streams Building (24319 Cedar Creek Lane, Plainfield).

The Romeoville Recreation Department invites all men and women 50 years of age and better to participate in our bowling competition. Event located at Strike ‘N Spare II (811 Northern Drive, Lockport). Shoe rental not included.

Adult Sand Volleyball League

Check out the new sand volleyball courts at Discovery Park.  In this new league, teams will play 4 on 4 volleyball with regular volleyball scoring.  There will be regular season plat as well as a tournament at the end of the season.  Winning teams will receive championships shirts.

Gone Fishin’ 

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Learn the basics fishing skills from baiting your hook to casting your reel. Gone fishin' will meet at Lake Strini to practice catch and release. Fishing pole not provided (all other supplies provided).

day camp

Campers will partake in indoor/outdoor activities like swimming, arts ’n crafts, sports, games, music and field trips. Campers will build friendships, explore their creativity and develop new skills while having an unforgettable summer! Children are required to bring two snacks, drinks, and a lunch in an insulated lunch bag for each day of camp
(microwave/refrigerator is not available). Each child will need to purchase a $10 camp t-shirt at the front desk. Please present a receipt to your counselor to receive your t-shirt. Camp t-shirts are required on all field trips.
