Lewis University, 1 University Parkway, Parking Lot “W” South of the main entrance.
Will County and Lewis University have partnered to offer the annual Will County collection of pumpkins for recycling. Students, parents, and residents are encouraged to pitch their pumpkins and gourds to see whose pumpkin goes the furthest!! Staff from the County will be joined by the Farm Bureau and Univ of IL Ext office to measure distance and offer prizes! Physics students will be offering a catapult option to add some thrills. Document Destruction will also be offered. Naked Pumpkins Only! No candles, bags or boxes! Limit of five pumpkins per person.
Isle a la Cache Museum presents "Living History Demonstration"

Free, all ages. Experience history up close and personal. On these Sundays you may find cooks, seamstresses, voyageurs, soldiers or craftsmen sharing their talents. The Isle a la Cache Brigade is a volunteer group of re-enactors presenting a sample of the 18th-century fur trading life. No registration is required for this event.

Fee: Free! Age: Ages 16 or older. Archeologist and author Bill Iseminger joins us from Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. This program will uncover the cultural traditions as well as the rise and demise of Cahokia, the largest prehistoric settlement north of Mexico. We’ll discuss the many significant site features and the results of archaeological research at this World Heritage site. Enjoy light refreshment. Walk away with giveaways.

If you would like to donate items, but won't be home that day, you may drop it off at the following locations from 11/10-11/16:
