Clay for ages 5 to 12 years
Date: 6/4-6/18 from 5:00pm-7:00pm
Day: Mon
Fee: $90/Res - $135/NR
Roll, knead, twirl, pinch and pull while experimenting with clay! This class will explore the art of clay while designing new pieces.
 
Follow Me Robot for ages 7-12 years
Date: 6/4-6/8 from 9:00am-12:00pm
Day : M-F
Fee:  $150/Res - $225/NR
How would you like to build a robot that has four built-in microphones? It will detect the sound source and in turn it will move and turn accordingly and you can take it home!
 
Harry Potter – Magical Mystery Tour for ages 7 to 12 years
Date: 6/4-6/8 from 1:00pm-4:00pm
Day : M-F
Fee: $150/Res - $225/NR
Participants will play quidditch, make an edible wand, and we will brew some fantastic potions to drink. Let’s create and watch some amazing chemical reactions. Experiment with colored magic sand and a mysterious glowing ball.
 
C.SI. – Crime Scene  Investigation for ages 7 to 12 years
Date: 6/11-6/15 from 9:00am-12:00pm
Day: M-F
Fee: $150/Res - $225/NR
Have fun learning about forensics, crime scene investigations, and crime lab chemistry as you perform as many as 15 different experiments designed to show you just how those tricky cases are solved. Search for the evidence , gather clues, and discover how science can help solve a mystery. Participants will: dust for fingerprints, analyze handwriting, test for blood type using simulated blood, examine hair and clothing fibers, practice chemistry to identify ,mystery substances and more.

Creative Play Preschool provides children with the opportunity to participate in activities which develop them socially, emotionally, and intellectually. 


Classes are designed to encourage children to interact with a peer group, develop feelings of self-worth, attain self-control and responsibility, stimulate creativity, imagination and help initiate an interest in learning and discovery. Classrooms focus on an active learning environment geared towards developmentally appropriate curriculum to help students reach their full potential. Curriculum emphasizes the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, pre-literacy, math, science and more!
All children must be toilet trained (except Fun with 2’s & 3’s). Birth certificates and the non-refundable deposit are required at registration. 

Registration begins Tuesday, June 5th!

TEACHER NEEDED FOR ELEMENTARY AGE ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Teacher needed for elementary age summer science enrichment programs. You do not have to be a science major. These programs are fun, hands on, and educational. We teach you these fun programs. The rate of pay is $30/hour. Certified elementary, middle, or high school teachers may apply. The dates of the programs are June 4-8, and June 11-15. The times of the programs are from 9 am to 4pm. The programs are sponsored by the Romeoville Recreation Department. The programs are taught by Sciensational Workshops For Kids Inc.
