Preschool

Creative Play Preschool Openings in January!


Creative Play Preschool open enrollment begins Tuesday, January 2nd. Classes begin the week of January 8th and conclude at the end of May 2018. We are accepting 10 new students for our Junior Program on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9:10am-11:40am. Children must be 3 years old and toilet trained. Our Senior Program will be accepting 3 students for classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:10am-11:40am. Are you passionate about teaching and looking to enrich the lives of children?

The Romeoville Recreation Department has an immediate need for a qualified part-time preschool teacher. Applicants should be patient, creative, energetic, and fun individuals to help grow our program. Gymnastics

Gymnastics Open Gym
on 12/17

Enjoy continuous fun for ages 5 through 16! This open gym is a non-structured, supervised time for children to practice skills and have fun! All children must have a parent sign them in at each open gym. Preregistration is not necessary. 
Age: 5 to 16   Time: 2:30pm-4:30pm
Fee: $7/class members  $10/non-class members  


Gymnastics Parent & Tot Open Gym on 12/29

Parents can join their toddler as they run, jump, and tumble around with the help of gymnastics instructors.  This two hour open gym time is not a structured class; you may come for the entire two hours or drop in as you see fit.  Register at least 3 days prior to each open gym date.  Please wear comfortable clothing.    
Age: 1 to 5   Fee: $5/R - $8/NR    Time: 10:00am-noon          
Nerf

NERF ATTACK LEAGUE

LEAGUES FOR GRADES 4 TO 6, 7 TO 9 AND 10 TO 12. 
Are you sitting at home on Thursday nights with nothing to do?  Grab some friends and join our Nerf Attack League!  Team will consist of 6 players and play four 7 minute quarters in a capture the flag style.  Trophies and shirts awarded to top teams at the end of the season. 
Fee: $38/R - $57/NR per player

Kids First Baseball Fundamentals Camp

Get your arms ready and your batters eyer ready for the upcoming baseball season. Kids First Sports Safety will work fielding positions, proper batting, and throwing techniques.  Excellent coaches plan strategic, fun drills and games that will increase skills and safety through fundamentals.
Age: 6 to 12   Fee: $45/R - $63/NR 
Class runs 12/26 - 12/29   Time: 10:15am - 11:30am

Kids First Volleyball Camp

This camp will offer volleyball skills challenge contests and championship volleyball games. We will do competitive drills for skills training in the following areas: serving, passing, setting, and spiking. Campers will also learn techniques on speed and quickness, body balance,  first step directional movements and sportsmanship.
Age: 7 to 12   Fee: $45/R - $63/NR  
Class runs 12/26 - 12/29   Time: 11:30am - 12:45pm
