Kids First Baseball Fundamentals Camp

Get your arms ready and your batters eyer ready for the upcoming baseball season. Kids First Sports Safety will work fielding positions, proper batting, and throwing techniques.  Excellent coaches plan strategic, fun drills and games that will increase skills and safety through fundamentals.
Age: 6 to 12   Fee: $45/R - $63/NR 
Class runs 12/26 - 12/29   Time: 10:15am - 11:30am

Kids First Volleyball Camp

This camp will offer volleyball skills challenge contests and championship volleyball games. We will do competitive drills for skills training in the following areas: serving, passing, setting, and spiking. Campers will also learn techniques on speed and quickness, body balance,  first step directional movements and sportsmanship.
Age: 7 to 12   Fee: $45/R - $63/NR  
Class runs 12/26 - 12/29   Time: 11:30am - 12:45pm

Celebrate the Holidays with us at the Rec Center!

Do you love the holiday season? Check out our holiday programs at the Recreation Department - Many of which are free!

Parent’s Night Out  on 12/19 (5-8pm)
Christmas is just around the corner!  Need extra time without the kids to get some shopping done?  Sign your children up for a night of fun while you get some last minute errands or shopping done.  The night will be filled with lots of fun holiday activities, including a pizza party!  The event is 3 hours long, but you can drop off at a time that works best for you.  Register by December 10th.  Children must be potty trained.
Age: 4-12 years     Fee: $12/R - $18/NR

Holiday Coloring Contest  
Pick up holiday coloring sheets at the Recreation Center front desk and return by Sunday, December 10th.  Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place for each age group.  All entries will be displayed at the Recreation Center starting Monday, December 11th.  Winners will be posted at the Recreation Center on Friday, December 15th.  Pick up your entries by Friday, December 22nd.
Age: 12 years and under     Fee: Free

Letters to Santa  
Write to Santa and let him know if you have been bad or good.  Santa will be accepting letters Wednesday, November 11th to Sunday, December 10th at 5:00pm.  He will write back and let children know that he received their requests.  Please make sure your address is printed clearly.  Send to*: Romeoville Recreation Department, C/O Santa, 900 West Romeo Road,  Romeoville, IL 60446 .  
Grade: 4th and under     Fee: Free
*We will forward letters to Santa.
