Romeoville Humane Society Santa Paws Craft/Vendor Fair

Admission is FREE! Have your pet's photo taken with Santa for only $10. There will be over 25 vendors and crafters available to start your holiday shopping. Isle a la Cache Museum presents "Living History Demonstration"

Sunday, December 3, 2017, Noon to 3 p.m.
Isle a la Cache Museum, 501 E. Romeo Rd.
A FREE, all ages "Living History Demonstration" is history up close and personal! On the first Sunday of each month, you may find soldiers, cooks, seamstresses, voyageurs or craftsmen sharing their talents. This program is led by the Isle a la Cache Brigade, a volunteer group that consists of re-enactors representing the fur trading community of the 18th century. No registration is required for this event. Depending on weather, this program is offered indoors or outside. Indoor facilities are accessible; outdoor activities may take place on uneven terrain. Isle a la Cache Museum presents "Stories in the Snow"

The search is on for animal tracks in the snow! Join us as we explore a (hopefully) wintry wonderland and investigate where our animal friends go when it gets cold. This program will involve a story, craft and a short hike. If there is no snow, we will still go outside and explore. FREE! Ages 5 or younger, accompanied by an adult. Registration is required by calling (815) 886-1467 by Thursday, December 7. Please dress for the weather. This program begins in an accessible facility and continues outside along a 0.3-mile mulch trail over uneven terrain.

Join us for Busy Beavers Craft Club. Free! Ages 12 or younger must be accompanied by an adult. Each day we will have a different craft set up in the Museum for you to make and take home. Create a paper snowflake and a gingerbread man. In keeping with the holiday spirit in December, participants can choose one of their crafts to take home and the other to leave behind as a gift for others.
