The Romeoville Fire Department Youth Summer Camp is a FREE Camp for ages 10-13 designed to give kids a unique, fun opportunity to understand what firefighters and paramedics do daily, the history of the fire department, responsibilities of personnel, capabilities of our various vehicles/apparatus, as well as the teamwork required for the fire department to accomplish its mission. Campers will learn topics such as:
- Firefighting
- Search and Rescue
- Water activities
- Jaws of Life
- CPR/Basic First Aid
