Dance Instructors
Looking for staff that can teach ballet, hip-hop, poms and lyrical.

Site Supervisors
Looking for staff to work Volleyball and Basketball score keeping, supervise practices, supervise open gym, and janitorial duties at our outdoor athletic events.

Before and after school care
Looking for staff to supervise children grades k-5th at RC Hill Elementary School.

Front Desk Supervisor
This would entail registrations, answering phone console, cash handling experience, computer experience, and customer service experience.  Starts at $12/hour with annual pay increase.

Gymnastics Coach
Ideal candidate will contribute ideas and success to our recreation program in addition to our competitive AAU and GIJO program.  Hours are available for days, nights, and weekends for preschool, recreational, and team level gymnasts. Salary: $12/hour starting

Certified Personal Trainer
Must be a certified personal trainer by a qualified fitness organization. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: administer an initial fitness assessment and equipment orientation; be able to instruct participants based on their specific needs and goals to become healthier; instruct participants on safe and proper form and training techniques; educate members in health and fitness concepts, techniques and practices; must be able to train in a group setting; be able to work well with people; show independent judgment and initiative in completing assigned task; handle complaints and direct them to the proper Supervisor; report accidents and incidents that occur during class. Hours are available for days, nights, and weekends for training sessions.

Recreation Department Building Manager
To assume responsibility for the operation and function of the Romeoville Recreation Department building during scheduled shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To organize and control scheduled activities, i.e. set-up, clean-up and other duties as required.
Responsible for light maintenance work such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping down counters, mirrors, windows and sinks.
Open and secure facility in the proper routine
Attend mandatory Customer Service and CPR Training
Attend monthly staff meetings
Assist instructors in facility preparation for classes
Prepares facilities for meetings
Assist the public with questions to insure success of all program events
Responsible for all building operations during scheduled shift
Customer relations
Assist anywhere on the grounds to insure success of all programs and events
Familiarize self with all classes the Romeoville recreation Department offers
Supervise and take responsibility for Facility Attendants and their work performance
Show enthusiasm and promote the Romeoville Recreation department
Be available to work special events and programs
Give assistance to the public regarding class registration, rental, Open Gym policies, game schedules, etc.
Open and close, lock and unlock facilities as needed (Volunteer Park, tennis courts, skate park)
Complete rental checklist following a room rental
Answer phones and take registration during receptionists’ lunch breaks and after 6:00 p.m. on week nights
Handle complaints and direct them to the proper Supervisor
Responsible for all messages to frontline staff
Complete Manager’s Report/Facility Checklist
Must follow departmental customer service standards
Drive recreation vehicles as needed
Office duties given by full time staff
Responsible for other duties as required

Judgment and Situational Reasoning Ability:
Requires the ability to exercise the judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental and/or subjective criteria, as opposed to criteria that are clearly measurable or verifiable

Physical Requirements:
Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of objects weighing five to thirty pounds.
Requires the ability to recognize and identify similarities or differences between characteristics of colors, shapes and sounds associated with job related objects, materials and tasks.
Language Ability and Interpersonal Communication
Requires the ability to deal with people in a personable, helpful manner
Must be able to express ones self clearly and effectively
Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license
