Romeoville continues to bring in numerous new businesses each year which have helped the community generate an average of over 1,000 jobs annually for the last five years. The most recent announcements include Amazon and Blain's Farm and Fleet, which together will hire over 700 employees at their Romeoville locations. “We are fortunate to be able to continue our pace of growth which has added thousands of new jobs over the last few years,” said Mayor John Noak.

• Blain’s Farm and Fleet is hiring for all positions at their new Romeoville location. A job fair will be held Tuesday, August 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center, 55 Phelps, Romeoville.

• The new Amazon fulfillment center is hiring for associate positions. Beginning this Fall, employees at the more than 750,000-square-foot facility will pick, pack and ship large items to customers such as big-screen televisions, sports equipment and kayaks.
