Police National Night Out

Police National Night Out

Police National Night Out Day is an annual community-building campaign observed on the first Tuesday in August. This night focuses on the community and raising awareness in the U.S. The event is held at 1050 W. Romeo Rd. on Aug. 3rd from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and includes:

  • Kid’s Activities
  • Rapid Response Vehicles
  • K-9 Demonstrations
  • Tours of the Building
  • Taser Demonstrations
  • Face Painting
  • Free Food & Giveaways
  • DJ
  • Simulator "Shoot Don't Shoot"

Meet and greet with members of the Traffic Unit, Community Oriented Division, Detectives Division and police officers dressed as Superheroes, Bicycle Unit, Citizens Police Academy Booth and Romeoville Fraternal Order of Police members.


  • 5:30-6:00 "Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles" show.
  • 6:30-7:00 p.m. Taser demonstration
  • 7:15-8:00 p.m. K-9 Demonstration
  • 8:15 p.m. Raffle prizes called and disseminated.
