Full Description

This course provides education for agencies that are utilizing UAS/Drone technology already or are interested in utilizing Drones in the future.

Students may attend the first three days of each session to com-plete the minimum requirements for the Federal Aviation Ad-ministration (FAA Part 107) and will receive an Operations level certificate certifying 24 hours of training.

Students may also attend all five days to receive a technician lev-el certificate of completion/40 hours of training. We encourage all students to sign-up for all five days of training for the greatest experience. The week long course covers how to operate drones both legally and safely. Students will have classroom education and have the opportunity to fly drones as a practical component.

When registering, please inform Academy personnel whether you will be attending the week long class or just the first three days.
