  1. Hydrant Flushing - Mid-March through Mid-June

    March 11, 2019, 7:30 AM - June 14, 2019, 5:30 PM

    Fire hydrant flushing will begin Mid-March and end in Mid-June this year. Flushing will take place Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m (weather permitting). Flushing will begin on the West side of Weber Road and then progress Eastward towards Independence Boulevard. Hydrant flushing signage will be placed nearest the areas being flushed on a daily basis to keep the residents and business owners informed of our progress.

  2. Spring Clean Up Week

    May 17, 2019, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    This is a week to encourage Romeoville residents to tidy up their yards and homes with unlimited pick-up of large items. Garbage pick-up will be on your regular scheduled day. No tires, hazardous waste or construction materials will be accepted. Grass clippings must be in kraft-biodegradable bags or an approved container. Tree chipper service will be available with no appointment necessary.

  1. White Oak Library presents Friday Movie Matinee "Woodstock: Three Days of Peace and Music"

    Join us for snacks and refreshments as we screen the Director's Cut of the documentary of Woodstock: Three Days of Peace and Music. Directed by Michael Wadleigh and featuring some of the most famous music acts of all time. 400,000 fans attended the first Woodstock music festival, in what became known as one of the single, defining moments of 1969. Roger Ebert said: "Few documentaries have captured a time and place more completely, poignantly, and for that matter, entertainingly." Please note that this film is intended for Mature audiences.
