Winner(s) determined by public popular vote. Each month’s entrants’ and voter’s names are entered for a chance to win a monthly prize from local businesses and sponsors Make sure to VOTE each month for your favorite image and poem for a chance to win monthly prizes!   2. Volunteer Workday: Isle a la Cache

    Our "Volunteer Workdays" provide an opportunity for you to contribute to your community, support your local environment, meet fellow nature-lovers, and get some fresh air and exercise. Please dress for outdoor work and the weather. Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and work gloves. Work will take place on uneven terrain that is primarily natural surface. Registration is required by calling 815.722.7364 or emailing rgauchat@fpdwc.org. This ensures that there is enough equipment for all participants.

  1. Citizens Police Academy Registration

    February 5, 2019, 12:00 PM - March 1, 2019, 5:00 PM @ Police Department

    This free 12-week program allows participants to get to know the members of the Police Dept. better and to understand why Officers make the decisions they do. The first class begins on March 12, 2019, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Topics include: Gangs, Criminal/Traffic Law, Traffic stops, Firearms safety, K-9 unit & more! Students must be 18 years of age. Priority will be given to Romeoville residents. The class runs each Tuesday for 12 weeks. Applications can be picked up/dropped off at the Romeoville Police Department, 1050 W. Romeo Rd. or mailed. Or you can fill out the PDF, print it out and bring it to the Romeoville Police Department. Applications are due by March 1st.
