How to enter:
• One poem and/or Image entry per person per month.
• Images include photography or a photo/scan of your original painting. drawing, sculpture or hand made art. Be Creative!
• E-Mail your poetry or image entries by the due date to: Info@romeovilleartsociety.org - Include the Title or the Piece, Your Name and Contact info.
• Upload options for image files: JPEG file format ONLY and file size may not exceed 5 MB. Winner(s) determined by public popular vote.
Each month’s entrants’ and voter’s names are entered for a chance to win a monthly prize from local businesses and sponsors Make sure to VOTE each month for your favorite image and poem for a chance to win monthly prizes! This free 12-week program allows participants to get to know the members of the Police Dept. better and to understand why Officers make the decisions they do. The first class begins on March 12, 2019, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Topics include: Gangs, Criminal/Traffic Law, Traffic stops, Firearms safety, K-9 unit & more! Students must be 18 years of age. Priority will be given to Romeoville residents. The class runs each Tuesday for 12 weeks.
Applications can be picked up/dropped off at the Romeoville Police Department, 1050 W. Romeo Rd. or mailed. Or you can fill out the PDF, print it out and bring it to the Romeoville Police Department. Applications are due by March 1st.
