  3. White Oak Library Rummage Sale

    Rummage sales are a treasured rituals in many communities, with the purpose of selling a variety of secondhand items at reasonable prices to raise money for special events. The proceeds from our rummage sale will support our upcoming STEM Fest on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Romeoville Branch. STEM Fest is an annual fun-filled, hands-on day of science, technology, engineering and mathematics and more. It's a great event for the whole family. We are currently accepting clean, gently used donations (clothing, small electronics, books, etc. for our Rummage Sale. Thanks in advance for your donations, and don't forget to visit during the sale and shop for bargains.

  4. Lewis University's Theatre Department presents "Broadway Bound"

    Held at Lewis University's Philip Lynch Theatre, Broadway Bound was the nominee for the 1987 Tony Award, Best Play & Drama Desk Award, Best Play Finalist, and winner of the 1987 Pulitzer Prize in Drama. Part three of Neil Simon’s acclaimed autobiographical trilogy, (Brighton Beach Memories and Biloxi Blues), the play finds Eugene and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers. Meanwhile, the siblings are coping with their parents break-up and eventually divorce.   1. Citizens Police Academy Registration

    This free 12-week program allows participants to get to know the members of the Police Dept. better and to understand why Officers make the decisions they do. The first class begins on March 12, 2019, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Topics include: Gangs, Criminal/Traffic Law, Traffic stops, Firearms safety, K-9 unit & more! Students must be 18 years of age. Priority will be given to Romeoville residents. The class runs each Tuesday for 12 weeks. Applications can be picked up/dropped off at the Romeoville Police Department, 1050 W. Romeo Rd. or mailed. Or you can fill out the PDF, print it out and bring it to the Romeoville Police Department. Applications are due by March 1st.
