Hydrant flushing will take place ( weather permitting ) Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. beginning March 13, 2017 and continuing until completion or May 31, 2017. Flushing will begin on the west side of Weber Road and progress eastward through town until completed or May 31, 2017. Flushing signage will be placed near the areas we are flushing on a daily basis to keep the public informed of our progress.

The Lewis University Choir will present a free concert and is open to the public.
The major work on the program will be The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom composed by P. I. Tchaikovsky in 1878. Sharing the program will be the Lewis University Chamber Choir, which will perform several choral songs, including a new composition by Dr. Timothy Bowlby, Senior Lecturer in Music at Lewis University. The two choirs will combine to sing the Evening Hymn by H. Balfour Gardiner.
Under the direction of Dr. Lawrence Sisk, Professor of Music at Lewis University, the Lewis University Choir includes students, faculty, staff and members of the community. The choir performs choral music ranging from Renaissance polyphony to music of living composers.
