Department Dispatching Center

The Romeoville Fire Department is part of the Village and County 9-1-1 system. When you call 9-1-1 in Romeoville, the call goes to the Public Service Answering Point (PSAP) located in the Police Department. If your call is for Fire or Emergency Medical Services, it is transferred to the Fire Dispatcher located in the Orland Central Dispatch Center. From there, the call is dispatched and handled by the center. Orland Central is a state of the art center that handles seven fire departments and is staffed by highly trained fire service professionals. The center dispatches for M.A.B.A.S. Divisions 19 & 25, the Combined Area Response Team (C.A.R.T.), the Illinois Emergency Medical Response Team (IMERT) and serves as a backup center for the City of Chicago.
