ParkCameras

Romeoville continues to implement enhanced safety measures throughout the community. The most recent initiative is the installation of cameras in 12 of the larger community parks. Village Park, located near the Recreation Center, is the first location to receive the new cameras. A total of four parks will be equipped this year. In addition to Village Park, Volunteer Park, Century Park and Murphy Park will be equipped with cameras.

Pedestrian safety continues to be addressed. Plans have been rolled out for additional paths and pedestrian crossings at key locations. “Safety is always a priority and we are working very hard to maintain that feeling in Romeoville,” said Mayor Noak.
