The Romeoville Police Dept. is participating in this "Cop on a Rooftop" event to raise donations for the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. On Friday, May 19th beginning at 5 a.m., officers will be at these Dunkin’ Donuts locations: 239 S. Weber Rd. (in front of Kohl’s) & 649 N. Independence Blvd. (IL Rte. 53 & Normantown Rd.)

Law enforcement officers from throughout the state will stake out Dunkin’ Donuts rooftops to support Special Olympics Illinois. Officers hope to top last year’s donation total of $672,000 as they head to 274 Dunkin’ Donuts rooftops to raise awareness and donations.
