Plans for a new Holiday Inn Express were presented to the Board during last night's meeting. Located along Normantown Rd. near the newly remodeled Bowlero, the hotel will be a 4-story building, accented with an outer stone veneer, and contain 96 rooms.
“It’s exciting any time we can bring new business to Romeoville,” said Mayor Noak. “We’re thrilled to provide another lodging option for our visitors.”
The hotel will contain amenities such as a swimming pool, meeting rooms, fitness center, business center, a breakfast/lounge space, and an outdoor patio.
Other development proposed at the meeting included a Murphy Express gas station, which will be the first of seven out lots to be developed in front of Blain’s Farm & Fleet.
