Viga Design, which creates and installs custom graphics for commercial fleets, is looking to expand their operations and construct a new building to house their designers and equipment. They are seeking to build on the four remaining vacant lots in the Airport Industrial Center. The concept plan for their building was approved back in March and they have now been granted a special use permit by the Village Board.
“Viga’s work is very eye catching,” noted Mayor John Noak. “We’re excited to welcome another innovative business to Romeoville.”
The proposed building would be 25,600 square feet with offices in the front and production
areas in the rear. It would be accessed with two curb cuts off of Chicago Tube Drive. Doors are located on both the east and west sides of the building to allow trailers to be pulled in, have the graphics installed, and pulled out in an efficient manner.
