We've gathered veteran related information into one, easy to navigate place. From finding resources to honoring those who have already served, we are tremendously proud of our veterans and hope this page is a useful resource to them and their families. 

If you are a Veteran and would like to be part of our registry, please complete the Veteran's Registry form. The Veterans Commission will use the registry to provide information on programs and opportunities for Veterans in our community.

Disabled Veteran Trash Discount

The new Waste Management contract, which began May 1, 2021, includes a $2 per month discount for disabled veterans. Those who feel they qualify can apply by filling out the form here. Proof of disability will be required. Details on the form itself.

TAX BILL EXEMPTIONS

Please review the right hand column of your tax bill to ensure you received all of the exemptions to which you are entitled. Exemptions include the General Homestead Exemption, Homestead Improvement Exemption, Disabled Persons, Senior Citizens, Senior Citizens Assessment Freeze, Disabled Veterans and Returning Veterans.
