The Village of Romeoville will be sponsoring an Operation Christmas program for the 2016 holiday season. This program offers struggling families in our community the opportunity to receive gifts for their children and a holiday meal box. It also allows those in the community who wish to do so, the opportunity to “adopt” children and/or families and provide gifts for them.
Adopt a Family
We ask, if possible, to purchase the following for each family that is adopted:
• 1 new outfit (shirt and pants) for each child ages 12 and under
• 1 new toy for each child 12 and under
• 1 clothing gift certificate in the amount of $30 for each child 13-18
• 1 gift certificate for $20 for each child 13-18

Registration forms for Operation Christmas are now available and can be picked up at any of the Romeoville Valley View School District Schools and the following locations:
• Romeoville Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Road
• Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road
• White Oak Library, 201 Normantown Road

In-person Registration is required and only available on the following dates: •Wednesday, 11/2 from 5-7 p.m. at Romeoville Recreation Center, Art Room, 900 W. Romeo Road •Saturday, 11/5 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Romeoville Recreation Center, Drdak Room, 900 W. Romeo Road •Sunday, 11/6 from 12:30-2 p.m. at Romeoville High School (enter at Door # 11- on the east side of the building), 100 N. Independence Blvd.
