Designed by Dewberry Architects,the 76,000 square foot sports complex meets the demands of many local athletes as well as community groups by offering indoor soccer, 8 basketball courts, community meeting rooms, and multipurpose space to accommodate special events and expos. The site has also been designed to accommodate outdoor special events, such as festivals and outdoor markets. The Center offers:

In 2014, the Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center was opened. This immediately added to the success of Uptown Square by drawing regional attention with an estimated 400,000 visitors annually.
The center continues to attract community events, this year we look forward to the Kiwanis Art Fair, Romeoville’s Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting Ceremony, and special events by the Chamber of Commerce.

National Basketball Tournaments with visits by top coaches including Tom Izzo, Michigan State; Bo Ryan, University of Wisconsin and Dana Altman, University of Oregon
