Fire Department Coloring Contest

Sound the alarm! The Romeoville Fire Department is having a contest! 

Age 2-7: Coloring Contest - Print and color any one of the three fire fighter themed images below, then snap a picture and submit to fireprevention@romeoville.org by October 25th. Contest will be broken into two groupings: age 2-4 and age 5-7. There will be one winner from each age group. Prize for each will be an age appropriate LEGO set. All entries must be colored using crayons, colored pencils, markers, gel pens or any other traditional mediums.

Age 8-12: Adventures with Sparky Contest - Color and cut out Sparky, then snap a picture of your Sparky doing something to promote fire safety in Romeoville. Email your photo, along with the artist’s full name, age at time of entry, mailing address, and phone number to fireprevention@romeoville.org by October 22nd. One winner will get to ride with Santa on his sleigh as he travels to the Romeoville Tree Lighting on December 3rd, 2021!

Submitting Entries:

Entries must be submitted one of three ways:

  1. Submit online by emailing fireprevention@romeoville.org 
  2. Drop off in person at the front desk of Village Hall (1050 W. Romeo Road)
  3. Submit by mail: Village of Romeoville, Attn: Fire Prevention, 1050 W. Romeo Rd., Romeoville, IL 60446

Contest Rules:

By submitting an entry, you agree to the following official contest rules:

  1. Limit one (1) entry per person
  2. All entries must be original and entirely created by entrant. Please no help from parents or older siblings/helpers.
  3. All entries must include the artist’s full name, age (at time of entry), mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  4. All entries must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. central time on October 22, 2021.
  5. No purchase necessary.
  6. Drawings will be judged independently based on the ability of each entrant. Each entry will be judged on 50% coloring skill and 50% creativity. Winners from each age group will be determined by judges in their sole discretion. The Fire Department will contact the potential winners by email on or November 1, 2021. 
  7. All selected winners will have their entries posted on the Village’s webpage and social media outlets.
